Helping Youths Develop Character and Integrity In Their Formative Years

Restoring Ethical Pride Among Youths (R.E.P.A.Y.) is a youth-oriented, Christian-based organization. The vision of R.E.P.A.Y. is to help youths develop positive values and a strong sense of character and integrity during their formative years.

In keeping with this vision, R.E.P.A.Y. uses the fine arts to foster a child's positive self-expression, help a child positively interact within a group setting, and help a child learn patience and responsibility through developing proficiency in a chosen art discipline. These factors are the basis of character, integrity, and ethical pride.

Engaging Classes

Taught by Local Volunteers

Each semester, a R.E.P.A.Y. student chooses the class or classes of interest to him or her. The child is instructed by teachers who specialize in the child's chosen fine art discipline or disciplines. Each class session lasts one hour. Afterwards, R.E.P.A.Y. students attend a 30-minute biblically based discussion session on topics related to character, respect for self and others, moral integrity, and positive values.

Cultural Outings

To Create Lasting Memories

During a semester, R.E.P.A.Y. students attend enrichment outings (such as musical concerts) that are related to their chosen fine arts discipline. In these enrichment outings, a child is able to observe professionals performing various fine arts disciplines. R.E.P.A.Y. also provides field trips that have a focus on enjoyment as well as enrichment so that the children can experience a positive environment in which to interact with their peers and encourage each other.

Awards Banquets

Recognizing Our Students' Accomplishments

Each semester ends with the R.E.P.A.Y. Student Recital, followed by the R.E.P.A.Y Awards Banquet in which each student’s accomplishments during the semester are recognized. So that no student is excluded from a meaningful experience because of economic concerns, R.E.P.A.Y. offers all courses and field trips at no cost to students.

Meet Our Founder

Reverend Warren C. Patrick

On September 10, 2007, R.E.P.A.Y. began offering classes in various fine art disciplines as a means to help youths develop character, moral integrity, and positive values. Reverend Warren C. Patrick founded R.E.P.A.Y. to counteract the pervasive negative messages and attitudes that impact youths today. As a result of negative influences from industries such as the hip-hop industry, Hollywood, and the video game industry, many youths come to believe that a life of high moral standards is not valuable. Many youths consequently experience the negative outcomes of these influences such as teenage pregnancy, abortion, drug abuse, incarceration, and violence.

A Story Within a Story

Meet Mr. Brian Swiencinski

The story of R.E.P.A.Y. cannot be told without telling the role that has been played by Mr. Brian Swiencinski, former Chairman of the Board. Although the vision of R.E.P.A.Y. was first given to the founder, Rev. Warren C. Patrick, the vision may have only remained a vision without the generosity and support that Mr. Swiencinski has provided over the years. Because of the committed efforts of this member of the community, R.E.P.A.Y. has been able to positively impact the lives of hundreds of students since its inception. Mr. Swiencinski has contributed tens of thousands of dollars, has provided sage advice, and now serves as Chairman of the Board.

At first glance many might say that the partnership between Mr. Swiencinski and R.E.P.A.Y. began as a chance encounter. One day while Mr. Patrick was performing as a street musician in downtown Fort Worth (at that time his only means of funding the organization), he met Brian. After several piano lessons with Warren, Mr. Swiencinski became aware of Rev. Patrick’s mission, commitment, and struggles to finance the organization. Mr. Swiencinski became so impressed with the impact R.E.P.A.Y. was having upon the community that he donated a Korg M-20 piano to R.E.P.A.Y., and he donated a Nissan Maxima car as an upgrade in transportation for Rev. Patrick. He also decided to provide consistent support financially and in other ways to the organization. Mr. Patrick has often commented that he knows the partnership between R.E.P.A.Y. and Mr. Swiencinski began, not as a chance encounter, but by the providence of God.
